Meta model
A set of precise questions that recover deleted, distorted, and generalized information in language.
Bandler and Grinder built the meta model from the language patterns of Virginia Satir and Fritz Perls. It has 12 well-formed violation types in three categories (deletion, distortion, generalization) and a precision question for each. The meta model brings a client's vague problem statement into clear, workable specificity.
