Milton model

A set of deliberately vague hypnotic language patterns modeled from Milton Erickson.

The Milton model is the inverse of the meta model: it uses artful vagueness, presuppositions, embedded commands, and ambiguity to bypass conscious resistance and speak to the unconscious. Core patterns include mind-reading, cause-effect, nominalizations, unspecified verbs, and embedded questions.
