Well-formed outcome

An outcome that meets seven criteria designed to make the goal achievable and ecological.

The seven criteria: stated in the positive; sensory-evidenced (you would see, hear, feel that you have it); self-initiated and maintainable by the client; contextualized (when, where, with whom); resource-identified; ecological (good for the whole system); first-step-defined. Coaching that begins with a well-formed outcome saves session time and improves follow-through.
