Outcome

The desired result of a session or intervention, ideally specified as a well-formed outcome.

An outcome is the explicit goal the work is aimed at. NLP distinguishes a well-formed outcome (specific, sensory-evidenced, self-initiated, ecological, contextualized, resource-identified, first-step-defined) from a vague wish. Outcome-setting is usually the first move of an NLP session.
