Neurological levels
Robert Dilts' six-tier hierarchy of human experience: environment, behavior, capability, belief/value, identity, spiritual.
Dilts proposed that change at a higher level (identity) propagates downward, while change at a lower level (environment) rarely propagates up. Trainers use the hierarchy to diagnose at what level a client's stuck pattern lives, and to choose an intervention at the appropriate level.
